PLASTIC GRINDING
ROWAN SCRAP METALS has an outstanding grinding operation. Whether you want your own material ground and sent back, simple or complex toll grinding, or looking to sell your scrap, Phoenix Recycling is the most efficient place for all your scrap material. We produce clean regrind at affordable prices, with very little waste. Our turn-around time in many cases is just a few days. We operate two lines of shredders and grinders with high powered magnets that produce roughly 8,000 lbs per hour throughput. We take your custom orders of 25 Metric Tonnes and up.
BALING OPERATION
ROWAN SCRAP METALS is also a full-service baler that can handle all plastics and cardboard. Our large baler and constant supply help us to keep pricing consistently low. Our warehouse in the heart of Columbus, OH can be dedicated to servicing your baling needs
WAREHOUSING & LOADING
ROWAN SCRAP METALS has thirty years of loading and warehousing service experience. If you have a truckload that comes in and goes out, but you need samples taken, or the freight cost of bringing it in to your warehouse is just too much then contact us. We will prepare the load for an end-user, and keep your sources confidential. We can transfer boxes and split loads for re-directioning.
BLENDING / MIXING
ROWAN SCRAP METALS now offers pneumatic blending to homogenise up to 42,000 lbs of regrind or pellets at one time. Upgrade the quality of your material. Each box will have the same properties and melt flow throughout the load. Marginal contamination can be bled off to negligible levels by distribution across the load. Want to combine two or more sources of material into a single blend, we can help.

COLLECTION SERVICES
ROWAN SCRAP METALS run a large scale scrap collection service of PLASTICS SCRAPS & STOCKLOTS PAPER ROLLS & E-WASTE SCRAPs Utilising our own fleet of vehicles. The process is tailored to suit our clients and accommodate their volume of scrap. Collections can be organised daily, weekly or as needed. Once collected, scrap is weighed and entered into our SAP system. All clients are given access to these records for their own account keeping. Collection stillages are also available for clients. ROWAN SCRAP METALS will assess and coordinate the best fit for purpose stillage available for your company’s unique needs.
